The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey is a recognised world-leader in Biosciences with more than 4000 students in a variety of teaching environments.

We are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to support the delivery of practical classes within the school of Biosciences & Medicine. This role will work helping to prepare and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate practical classes in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Physiology, Virology and more.

The ideal candidates will have experience of working in a practical teaching environment, an understanding of laboratory Health & Safety and a methodical approach to work. This post may require a significant amount of manual handling and an ability to adapt to changes in the workload at peak times. The successful applicants must be able to work independently and have good time management skills.

You will be interacting with students, staff and other members of the technical team on a frequent basis and delivering a high level of customer care will be an important aspect of this role.
