About the team

Human Resources enables the University to implement and deliver its People & Culture strategy to make the University a remarkable place to work, attracting and retaining word-class staff from diverse backgrounds who want to build careers, drive change, provide leadership an create opportunities at an institution renowned for its excellence.

The HR Business Partnering team consists of eight highly skilled HR practitioners who support an overall workforce of 3,700 FTE. The team have worked hard in building credibility as strategic and valued resources to the senior leadership team, and have a result, we have a seat at the table.

We are constantly developing exciting and relevant initiatives in an environment that is dynamic and challenging. Every member of the team is a self-starter who is highly motivated and keen to add value in a rewarding environment.

About the opportunity

You will provide human resource advice to leaders and staff with a primary focus on operational human resource matters and provide general support to the HR Business Partner.

You will also provide quality advice on the application of HR policies, and support implementation of HR strategic initiatives (including change).

About you

You will possess relevant tertiary qualifications and substantial relevant human resources experience at an appropriate level. You will also demonstrate knowledge of current human resource practices, policies, procedures and systems along with exceptional written and verbal interpersonal, communication, consultation and advisory skills.
