This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced further education quality manager to lead the University’s strategic FE quality enhancement programme.

It is imperative that you have a thorough understanding of the current Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, as you will lead on quality assurance and improvements, acting as  the nominee for formal inspections.  You will ensure that all learners receive a first-class, high quality further education experience and that aspirations  to progress to further study or highly skilled employment are raised. 

You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills across all curriculum areas and be adept at challenging any examples of poor performance, either in our teaching or our professional student support services. It it also of paramount importance that you are able to foster a culture of support for staff, one that sees them empowered to deliver the best possible teaching and service to students, in line with Ofsted and Governing Body expectations. You will be able to identify and share best practice across all provision and ensure staff receive the right ongoing development for them to meet and exceed all stakeholder expectations.

It is essential that you are able to demonstrate recent evidence of supporting and facilitating lecturers and assessors to perform at their best, and to improve teaching, learning and assessment continuously in a creative and innovative way.

This role would suit a highly motivated and driven professional with extensive and recent experience in managing further education quality provision, one who perhaps shows aspirations to be a future College Principal.
