Through innovative and effective administration, the TNE and Global Online team support the delivery of the wider University and Internationalisation Strategies to grow the University’s international profile through increasing the number of international students studying in Edinburgh, online and through our programmes delivered overseas (TNE).

The TNE and Global Online team works closely with our Academic Schools to support the development, delivery, and enhancement of the University’s Transnational Education (TNE) and Global Online programmes.  Edinburgh Napier University has over 6,000 students studying online or on one of our TNE programmes, which are delivered in partnership with overseas universities and education providers in locations such as Hong Kong, Singapore and China.

We’re seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and proactive TNE and Global Online Operations Coordinators to provide senior administration and coordination, in order to deliver an excellent student experience.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to work in an ambitious and supportive team to help enable the University to meet, and (where appropriate) exceed our targets for student recruitment.

You’ll be able to really make a difference through using your extensive experience in administration to provide senior administrative support and coordination for our TNE and Global Online programmes which allow our students to complete an Edinburgh Napier University qualification from their home location.

As someone with excellent IT skills and experience of planning and implementing process improvements, you’ll have the opportunity to use your innovative ideas to contribute to projects which will improve our services and efficiency to deliver excellent student and stakeholder experience.

You’ll get to work closely, with team colleagues, internal departments, academic colleagues, external stakeholders and others from around the world to support in the development and delivery of our TNE and Global Online programmes.

Who we are looking for

Qualified with a degree or equivalent relevant experience, you will have:

  • Experience of working in an administrative role and planning projects involving the coordination of inputs from a range of contributors, including implementing procedures
  • Experience of regularly using a large records database such as. a student records system.
  • Experience of managing large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise own workload in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and priorities.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and lead on areas of activity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with staff at senior levels.
