About the Role

Based within the Sexual Health Unit of the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, this position represents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic research team and support the implementation of Australia’s first fully online STI testing clinic.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing logistical support to and coordination of workshops during the project’s co-design phase
  • Managing project-related payments for the workshops and other project-related expenses
  • Providing research support including data entry, preparing ethics submissions, manuscripts, and project documents, as needed
  • Organize project meetings for the project team and working groups and take detailed meeting minutes
  • Support ethics submissions, including preparing plain language statements, recruitment materials and entering background information

About You

You will have:

  • Currently enrolled or completed a Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience providing support to large research or evaluation projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Strong written communication skills, report writing, and minute-taking skills
  • Experience organizing large processes or activities
