About the Role

As the Regulatory and Integrity Officer, you will work across a range of Swinburne’s key regulatory and integrity frameworks, including:

  • Complaints, reviews, appeals and misconduct
  • Disputes management
  • Freedom of Information
  • Privacy
  • National Security and defence-sector related due diligence.

Joining a close-knit, collaborative team, you will handle incoming cases, requests and submissions, and implement processes to ensure matters are handled in a timely and effective manner.

You will operate databases and other systems, assist with training and resource development and provide support and advice to staff across the University to help them fulfill their responsibilities under our regulatory and integrity frameworks.

About You

To be suitable for this role you will demonstrate experience or capability in:

  • Establishment and maintenance of administrative systems and processes that deliver a high standard of service, provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders, and keep accurate records
  • Solving problems and adapting work practices
  • Organisation and time management, including the ability to plan ahead, work under pressure, prioritise multiple tasks and display thoroughness, sound judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to follow tasks through to completion.

Previous experience in relation to complaints and disputes management, freedom of information, privacy and/or due diligence work is highly desirable.
