Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant to join Antibody engineering programme, which is part of the NUS Life Sciences Institute (https://www.lsi.nus.edu.sg/corp/). The lab is fully equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, machines and core facilities.

The Research Assistant (RA) will work closely with the other study team members and will provide technical assistance to the project. This includes both administrative duties and laboratory duties. Administrative duties include raising purchase orders, processing invoices, maintenance of lab equipment. Examples of laboratory duties are blood sample processing, managing sample inventories, and managing reagents and consumables. Assist or provide support in antibody discovery and diagnostic assays (ELISAs) workflows.

Qualifications

The applicant should:

• Have a Bachelor degree in Life Sciences (biomedical sciences preferred)
• Have experience in basic laboratory techniques
• Be well-organized and dedicated
• Be a team player and open-minded.

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Appointment will be made on a one-year contract basis in the first instance, with the possibility of extension for at least one more year. The position is available immediately.
