Job Description:  

Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a project funded by NMICPS TiHAN Foundation, IIT Hyderabad, India to the Automotive Research Centre (ARC), Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India 

Title of the Project:

“VISUAL AUTONOMOUS NAVIGATION FOR GROUND ROBOTS IN AGRICULTURE FOR UNDER-CANOPY MONITORING WITH FLEXIBLE SENSING PLATFORM”.

Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech or equivalent in Agricultural Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Control Automation/ Embedded systems/Autonomous vehicles and its related disciplines.

Desirable (if any):

Candidates have knowledge in crop diseases & management, machine learning/deep learning, python, real-time dataset generation & preprocessing, TensorFlow framework, etc. will be preferred.

Stipend:

Rs. 31,000/- per month

Duration

6 months (Initially 6 months but likely to be extended up to 18 months based on the extension of the project)
