Job Description

To develop underwater acoustic propagation models and underwater acoustic communication systems using Scientific machine learning techniques.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in underwater acoustics or machine learning (Ph.D. candidates who have submitted their thesis and awaiting award of degree are acceptable)
• Experience with underwater acoustics
• Experience with machine learning (scientific machine learning or physics-informed machine learning preferred)
• Strong scientific programming skills (experience with Julia programming language preferred)
