Applications are invited for a Specified Purpose post of a School Office Administrator within UCD School of Chemistry.

The School of Chemistry invites applications for a specified purpose post of School Office Administrator (Senior Executive Assistant grade) in the School Office. The primary purpose of this role is to work as part of a team in providing high quality administrative support to a range of School operational areas (teaching and learning in undergraduate, taught graduate and research graduate programmes, research, innovation and impact, communications and outreach).

The appointee will be based in the School office and will provide a friendly and efficient service in dealing with inquiries from staff and students.

The post holder must have proven administration, organisational and communication skills. The role is varied in administrative duties and ongoing tasks, and the post holder will be expected to interact with colleagues within the School, the College of Science and the University together with various external stakeholders.

The post holder may be assigned by the Head of School or the School Manager to support specific projects and School initiatives as required. The post will provide a varied and stimulating work environment and will operate in an evolving environment where duties and responsibilities may be subject to review and change over time.

95 Senior Executive Assistant 2013 Salary Scale: €39,894 - €49,105 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.

Closing date: 17:00hrs (local Irish time) on 12th August 2022.
