Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Photonics in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 515762) to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics or closely related fields. Those with extensive research experience in topological physics are welcome to apply. The appointee will work with Professor Shuang Zhang to pursue research in topological metamaterials. Professor Zhang’s research interests cover a wide range of topics in photonics, including, but not limited to, metasurfaces, non-linear optics, topological photonics etc. The current publications of Professor Zhang group’s can be found at https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=sepjZ3sAAAAJ&hl=en.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
