About the team

The Immunology and Transplantation Research Group sits within the School of Medicine at UWA. The group has significant links across the West Australian Health Sector and maintains a laboratory and research program in inflammatory responses. The group is currently undertaking the PERTH (Plastic Exposure Reduction Transforms Health) Trial, a new research study investigating the impact of plastic-associated chemicals on human health. This position is based at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in Nedlands.

About the opportunity

Reporting to the group’s Principal Investigator, you will provide high level administrative and project management support for research grants and projects including contracts, budgets, and personnel management.

Working collaboratively as part of the Core Management Team, you will contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of the current and planned medical research projects.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications and substantial senior administrative experience including project coordination/management, and budgeting, preferably within a research environment. You will also have knowledge of University or tertiary institution policies and processes.

Note: Some after-hours work may be required.
