The UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems is a constituent School of the UCD College of Health and Agricultural Sciences. The School is a national provider of undergraduate and postgraduate registration education programmes in nursing and midwifery and postgraduate programmes in health systems and health professions' education. Its programmes emphasise clinical expertise, critical inquiry, leadership development, personal growth, communication, teamwork, inter-professional collaboration and lifelong learning.

The School is a leading research-intensive school with a large portfolio of programmatic and single-project research. The mission of the UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems is to prepare nurses, midwives and other professionals to promote and protect health, wellbeing and dignity across the lifespan through skilled, ethical and careful practice based on best evidence and sound judgement, and to develop and disseminate disciplinary knowledge through research and scholarship.

The School offers more than 60 educational programmes at undergraduate, graduate and continuous professional development level delivered by research-active academic staff within a modern health science centre and across the country's largest hospital group. The School offers four undergraduate degree programmes in Nursing and Midwifery each year and over sixty graduate taught programmes, ranging from professional certificate to master's degree that are offered on a full-time, part-time, and occasional basis to support continuous professional development of over 600 graduate students. A further 35 graduate students pursue research studies at research master's or doctoral level. The Position The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems at University College Dublin seeks to appoint a temporary teaching fellow in Anatomy and Physiology. The duration of the appointment estimated to be 36 months, commencing in September 2022. The appointee will be expected to deliver lectures in anatomy and physiology , and to contribute to teaching on the School's programmes

Fixed Salary: € 38,000 per annum
