The University of Southampton Clinical Informatics Research Unit (CIRU) is based at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust. The Unit is a growing part of the medical school. This role is part of a team of over 45 members of staff and the successful applicant will be working to support the Unit’s EDGE Clinical Trials Management Software Programme.

We have a vacancy for an EDGE Knowledge Officer to provide professional services to the UK and International clinical trials sector working with Research teams, R&D, Clinical Research Network, and the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR). 

EDGE is an end-to-end clinical research management system used extensively in the UK, Canada, Belgium and New Zealand, with new installations across Asia and South Africa. We are looking for new talent to join our expanding team of dedicated Knowledge Account Managers.

The role is broad and will incorporate aspects of a number of different skills, including 1st and 2nd line end-user support, performing business analysis, change management, presentation to customers, and project management. 

Experience of working in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment or clinical research environment is welcomed. 

This post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. We have been working remotely for the past eighteen months, and the expectation is that we will move to a hybrid model of in-office and remote working through 2022.
