University College Birmingham are seeking an outstanding individual who can contribute to the teaching of nutrition and health and public heath nutrition related modules on our established Food and Nutrition Degree and to further curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will join a forward thinking and dynamic team of nutrition professionals and have access to teach in first class facilities.

You will be educated to a minimum Masters Level and be competent to teach on two of the following subjects:

  • Nutritional epidemiology and public health nutrition
  • Nutrition research methods
  • Communication and nutrition (including use of social  media platforms)  

The successful candidate will have a background of teaching or working in nutrition, with the ability to contextualise teaching to the nutrition and / or public health sector. You will be an excellent communicator, proficient in the use of IT and work well within a dedicated team. 

A teaching qualification (or working towards) is expected, in addition to relevant qualifications. 

Flexibility is essential, as evening/weekend work may occasionally be required.
