Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 516033), to commence early next year for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in Biological or Biomedical Sciences with substantial experience in statistical analysis and biological sample handling. Experience in working on stem cell biology and cancer research would be an advantage. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and online survey tools, strong problem-solving and communication skills and good publication records. They should also be self-motivated, highly committed, and able to work well both independently and in groups. The appointee will carry out human genomics and epigenomics research. He/She will manage genetic diagnosis projects; prepare scientific publications, grant proposals and reports; conduct data analysis; and perform other duties as assigned.
