Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 516007), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in biomedical engineering, materials science or a related discipline, with experience in designing and in-vivo testing of drug delivery systems/biosensors/diagnostic devices. Preference will be given to those with experience in molecular biology and tissue cell culture studies. Applicants must have a strong sense of responsibility, and be highly motivated, creative, energetic, and interested in translational research. They should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English, good interpersonal and communication skills. The appointee will be involved in projects on translational ophthalmic research.
