The Role
We are seeking to recruit a qualified educator at primary, post-primary or third level with a background in STEM subjects who can work well in a fast-paced team environment, across a multitude of educational settings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering STEM education opportunities for teachers and students across the education sector. This role is part of the strategic partnership with Microsoft Dream Space and the person will work with educators in this partnership to extend the work of the ALL institute, under the supervision of Dr Katriona O’Sullivan.
Principal Duties
The teacher will provide engaging STEM experiences to Students and Teachers across Ireland, and they will work with the team of Digital Leaders in Microsoft Dream Space and the ALL Institute to co-create and deliver compelling content that is responsive to the needs of education.
Duties include:
- Supporting teachers to become digitally prepared
- Delivering digital content to schools across Ireland
- Working with the team to undertake STEM needs analysis across schools
- Develop curriculum content
University Tutor salary scale (2022) Salary Scale: €38,352 – €42,437p.a. (3 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
