The Economics group in the Division of Social Sciences at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a Research Associate to work on the network aspects of internet connectivity.

The successful applicant will contribute to a project exploring the consequences of pushing the digital frontier that seeks to establish the causal effects of digital connectivity. The approach will exploit the network structure of global internet connectivity, so a detailed knowledge of network theory and econometrics is of the essence.

Applicants must have a PhD in Economics with a strong research background in econometrics and the analysis of networks. She/He must have demonstrated expertise in empirical work with applications in network analysis. She/He must have at least 5-year research experience on those topics and a strong publication record.
