The Department invites applications for the above positions. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Innovation and Creativity, Business Idea Generation, Startups and New Ventures, Global Entrepreneurship, Business Plan Development, Corporate Entrepreneurship, Startup Culture, and Organization or other areas related to entrepreneurship
Human Resources Management, Organizational Behaviour, Strategic Management, Research Methods
Applicants must hold, or expect to hold, a Ph.D. degree. Applicants for Research Assistant Professorship should have good potential in research and teaching. Applicants for Chair Professorship / Professorship / Associate Professorship / Assistant Professorship should be able to demonstrate commitment to excellence in research and teaching and be willing to work collaboratively with colleagues. Evidence of the ability to publish in top-tier journals is required. Interviews may be arranged at the coming Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Washington, USA (5-9 August 2022) and/or on HKBU campus in Hong Kong at a later stage.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of three years commencing September 2023 or the earliest available date. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. The appointment of Assistant Professor or above will be made on a tenure-track basis. Outstanding candidates at Associate Professor or above rank may be considered for tenure on appointment.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
