(Level B) $102,952 to $121,779 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply. A clinical loading of $32,380 is available for eligible dental practitioners.

Continuing part time position (0.4FTE) available immediately.

This position will play a key role in clinical teaching of Bachelor of Oral Health students.

The successful candidate will be part of the undergraduate clinical teaching team in the Adelaide Dental School including supervision of students and being directly involved in all aspects of clinical teaching within general dentistry. The successful candidate will also enhance the existing relationship between the school and SA Dental Services by creating opportunities for students to ensure optimal clinical experience and learning outcomes. It is a requirement that the Lecturer will be able to provide clinical supervision of students in SA Dental Service city, suburban clinics and on occasions in rural areas.

To be successful you will need:

  • AHPRA registration as an oral health therapist.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in in the preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, clinical seminars; as well as marking and assessment activities.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing a culture of teaching and learning excellence that includes the capacity to incorporate new technologies and new approaches to contemporary teaching methodologies.
  • Demonstrated high level of organisational skills and ability to work with initiative and minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders including students, industry, government and community groups.
