The Allied and Public health department programmes at the University of East London have grown dynamically over the last 4 years, including the development of our new apprenticeship courses in Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Occupational Therapy, and further planned Allied Health Professional courses at both UG and PG level.
As part of this development, we are looking to recruit a Health and Care Professions Council registered Physiotherapist to join our enthusiastic team to teach across the Professional health science cluster
You will contribute to the teaching and support of students undertaking modules and/or courses at the University and to students/supervisors/practice assessors in clinical environments.
We invite enthusiastic candidates who are HCPC registered Physiotherapists and hold a relevant degree. Candidates without previous teaching experience but with sound clinical leadership experience may be considered at Lecturer level if the candidate is willing to work towards a postgraduate certificate in professional education (or equivalent).
Candidates must have a passion for student focussed teaching, and a clear understanding and respect for the unique needs of widening participation cohorts of students. The successful applicants will have excellent knowledge of the professional and academic requirements of higher education programmes and will contribute to the development of Physiotherapy and allied health professions in the university.
