‘When I started working here in 2015, I was surprised by the incredibly friendly, flexible, and very supportive working environment. People here at different levels are absolutely passionate about what they do, passionate about teaching and supporting students. It feels like a community where everyone is treated as an individual and where your opinions are valued regardless of your background. We have staff and students from various countries and hence different cultural and social backgrounds, and this diversity is very much respected here. I never felt excluded. And the University provides many opportunities for development and collaboration.' Associate Professor – Department of Accountancy and Finance.

Are you enthusiastic about delivering an excellent teaching experience to students in the field of economics? The Department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics within the Lincoln International Business School (LIBS) are looking for a Lecturer in Economics. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate, culturally diverse and internationally-minded school within an ambitious institution, that is committed to providing an educational experience that enhances employability and enables people and businesses to create successful and responsible futures.

The post falls within the Department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics (AFE) which is one of three departments of LIBS. It deploys around 36 staff to deliver its own set of degree programmes plus servicing of subjects such as business maths, economics, accounting finance and law across the full spectrum of programmes. AFE has recently validated three MSc programmes: Banking and Finance; Economics and Finance; and Economics to build on its existing undergraduate programmes.

If you’re looking for a role where you can contribute to teaching and research in economics for AFE and the wider LIBS, we’re keen to appoint an economist that can deliver advanced econometrics for analysing cross sectional or panel data or advanced econometrics for analysing time series data.

A Careers Q&A event will be held with colleagues from LIBS on the 11th July at 1pm. Please click here to register https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=xEculd4FgkKDr19LRrFij5a1jKi0tsNOqtPGBC77cCxUREJGUldMTjQ3SDNON0JLV0U2MDdVNkdDVi4u
