The University of Greenwich is looking to hire a dynamic and experienced leader to support and drive the future development of our Oracle Cloud Platform. Working with key stakeholders to drive innovative solutions, the successful candidate will ensure the University obtains the benefit from the newly implemented ERP Oracle Cloud Platform.

This is an exciting time to be joining the University’s Oracle Cloud Support team within the central IT Services team (Information & Library Services). The University has a progressive and ambitious Digital Strategy, and in phases have successfully implemented the Oracle Cloud ERP Platform over the last two years. HCM, Payroll, Learning & Talent and Expenses were implemented during 2021 and more recently we have gone live with Procurement, Financials and Enterprise Performance Management. We are now looking for someone with the skills, drive, and vision to lead the support and development of the ERP Platform, and to create and inspire a highly performing, highly skilled and proactive Cloud Support Team.

The successful applicant will manage the Oracle Cloud Support Service. This newly formed team consists of individual teams covering functional and technical support, quarterly patching, continual service improvement, master data management, controls, and compliance. This role will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality support service to all Oracle Cloud users across the University.

In addition to leading a support service, you will be responsible for driving through enhancements by reviewing existing processes and working with key stakeholders to introduce improved ways of working by implementing new functionality, under the remit of continual service improvement.

As a member of the ILS Directorate, the role contributes to the development and execution of the University’s Digital Strategy. It also ensures its alignment with the University’s business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success.

The successful candidate must hold be Educated to degree level or holds a professional qualification.
