Job Purpose

• To provide high quality research support and undertake internationally competitive research aimed at publication thereby contributing to the academic and research mission of the University.
• Ability to present research plans and findings in a convincing style, both in oral and written modes of communication.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

1. To fabricate advanced membranes for solar membrane distillation systems.
2. To provide comprehensive characterization using advanced analytical tools.
3. To supervise PhD students.
4. To write proposals.
5. To publish in Q1 journals.

Operational Responsibilities

• To maintain safe and operational lab activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• To assist in the supervision of PhD graduate students.
