Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof Ho Han Kiat on the biological evaluation of microplastics and other xenobiotics on liver health.
The main responsibility of the position is to conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments to evaluate the impact of microplastics and other xenobiotics on indicators of liver health. This include determining the effects on liver function, liver injury, including the onset and resolution of steatosis and fibrosis.
Qualifications
Qualifications / Discipline:
- BSc in life sciences, biomedical sciences or equivalent.
Skills:
- Mammalian cell culture work, immunoassays, flow cytometry, RT-PCR and animal experimentation
Experience:
- Prior experiences in the above mentioned skills in the form of final year research projects or internships.
