The Role

We are seeking an excellent academic to join our staff as an Assistant Lecturer in Chemistry. The person appointed will have a proven record of teaching, research and publication, appropriate to career stage. The successful candidate will be expected to make a strong contribution to the teaching programme of the Department and undertake teaching duties on the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as the supervision of Master’s and PhD students.

The successful applicant will be required to take on a full teaching load.

They are welcome to pursue their own research in addition to this.

Assistant Lecturer (2022) Salary Scale: €35,598 – €62,211 per annum pro rata (14 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
