Project Accountant, Finance Office

Applications are invited for a Temporary post of a Project Accountant within UCD Finance Office

The Project Accountant will provide accounting and administrative support in a number of areas within the Financial Reporting Team, as part of the Finance Office and the University as a whole. The role requires an individual with all round problem solving skills, who is detail-orientated and can work to tight deadlines. The role requires a proven ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality and discretion to a very high level. Relationships: The successful candidate will report to the Senior Financial Accountant (or nominee) and will liaise closely with other Finance Office staff, with colleagues in the other units within the University and also with external agencies.

IMP. NOTE: A temporary panel will be created through which other Temporary (full-time) `Project Accountant' positions will be filled; and if arising within twelve months of an initial competition to fill one currently available Fixed-term 4 year (full-time) post.

NB: The duration of temporary posts offered on foot of a Panel being established can and do often vary.

95 Administrative Officer 1 Salary Scale: €45,565 - €61,775 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
