Maynooth University are seeking recruit an outstanding scientist at post-doctoral level to work with Professor Rozenn Dahyot (Hamilton Institute, Department of Computer Science) with her collaborators as part of the ADAPT SFI Research Centre on for AI-Driven Digital Content Technology. The successful applicant will form part of a research cluster that includes Maynooth University, University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University, National University of Ireland Galway, Munster Technological University and Technological University of the Shannon.
The candidate will work on analysing digital content (advanced data, signal, image, video processing) and machine learning approaches applied to several applications such as mapping (GIS) and biomedical image analysis as part of the ADAPT Research Theme : Digital Content Transformation. The work will look at regions, objects, scenes recognition by encoding absolute or/and relative spatial information and relationships with graphs.
Salary
Post-Doctoral Researcher: €39,523 - €45,609 p.a.
Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher: €46,906 p.a.
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
