Primary Care Research Centre

Aldermoor Health Centre/University Hospital Southampton 

 1 FTE for 30 months with opportunity to extend contract to 66 months

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Research Fellow to join a new research programme within the Faculty of Medicine (Primary Care Research Centre and School of Clinical Experimental Sciences) as the academic programme manager to lead the development of a digital intervention to support families with sleep problems and ADHD.   

The successful candidate will lead qualitative research with parents/carers of children with ADHD, managing the development of the programme website, stakeholder meetings, research governance applications, NIHR progress reports and oversight of finance. Please note a separate clinical trial manager role will be advertised for the RCT element of the programme.  

Applicants will have significant experience of the management and coordination of a research team. Experience of qualitative research and developing complex digital health interventions will be important. 

The post is fixed term for 30 months with the possibility to extend and will be offered full-time or part-time as a job share from 6^th Sept 2022. 

A standard DBS check is required for this role.
