The University of Southampton is looking to recruit teachers of French (fixed term contract) to teach on a variety of language courses on our IWLP offer (both credit-bearing and non credit-bearing modules). This would suit someone who already has a post in another institution or is not looking for full time employment.

We invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced French as a Foreign Language teachers.

The successful candidate(s) will have experience teaching French in a wide variety of settings and to a wide variety of public from A1 to C2, have good understanding and ideally experience of Higher Education in the UK, native level fluency in French, and expertise in all aspects of teaching, assessment, and student experience. They will also need to be available for some evening teaching

Hourly pay rate will be determined on the nature of the task(s) that the post holder will take on.

The number of hours for this period of time will vary depending on demand, but are expected to be approximately 6 - 20 hours a week between Lifelong Learning, Southampton Language Opportunity and the Centre for Language Study.

Hours will be worked across a variety of shift patterns: Lifelong Learning can be evening work, Southampton Language Opportunity and Centre for Language Study will be between 09:00 and 18:00.
