Lecturer/Ass Prof in Archives & Records Management
The School of History is seeking to appoint a lecturer/assistant professor in Archives and Record Management.
The successful candidate will teach on the professionally accredited MA programme in Archives and Record Management and on related Certificate programmes where applicable. They will teach modules covering areas such as records management and information governance, the preservation of analogue and digital records, digitization and archival ethics, and supervise MA dissertations. They will contribute to the management of the MA programme and more broadly of the School. In addition, they will have the opportunity to develop their research and can apply for seed-funding schemes. The candidate should ideally have, or be working towards, a PhD in Archivistics or a cognate subject and have experience in teaching at University level.
Salary: 95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Below The Bar (7944) €35,598 - €62,210 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
