Job Description

The Research Assistant will work in a research project aimed at developing a soft robot arm inspired to the octopus arm, for underwater manipulation.

The job includes:

  • studying the octopus arm reaching movement and modelling the fluid dynamics of an octopus-inspired soft robot arm.
  • theoretically and experimentally demonstrating the octopus-inspired arm movement in water.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Expertise in fluid dynamics
  • Experience with main fluid dynamics software tools.
