Job description
At Edinburgh Napier University, we are proud to be in a position where we can deliver a curriculum that provides an exceptional learning experience for our students.

The role of Curriculum Management Support Coordinator is one that will be crucial to the smooth running of our successful Curriculum Management change project, which will shortly move into its Business-as-Usual phase later this year.

As such, this newly created role will provide much needed support to the Curriculum Management Business Lead, working constructively and collaboratively with colleagues across all university departments to ensure coherent and effective support and training to users of the curriculum management system.

The Role:

Working in collaboration with the Curriculum Management Business Lead, you will have the opportunity to support the University Leadership Team with the implementation of our curriculum related University strategy and operational plans.

As someone with previous experience of organising efficient and effective support to a business function, you will be in a prime position to maintain relationships with all teams that support end-to-end Curriculum Management processes and ensure they are embedded, operating efficiently and meeting standards required.

You will also have the remit to create, develop, and provide training and support for Curriculum Management processes and systems, taking account of users’ needs and maintaining/developing appropriate resources that support staff with all Curriculum Management processes and procedures.

With your expertise in developing and delivering guidance of this kind, you will be in the ideal position to take on a role that puts the developmental needs of students and staff at the centre of its mission, one that will allow you to demonstrate the University’s values and behaviours and contribute actively to the development of an environment where colleagues feel proud, confident, challenged, and supported.

What we will need from you:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience/qualification
  • Experience of enhancing and developing services to meet users’ changing needs, providing efficient and effective departmental support
  • Experience of developing and delivering reports that support operation, management or strategic requirements
  • Analytical thinking - ability to understand complex processes and system solutions
  • Good written and oral communication skills combined with the ability to communicate and advise staff at all levels
  • Ability to work within pre-determined guidelines and frameworks
  • Excellent IT skills
