The Campus Kitchen is the University of Southampton’s in house catering service. We facilitate a multitude of services across the University to include the provision of food in catered halls, retail catering outlets across all campuses and a delivered catering service for all hospitality requirements. Our aim is to deliver a five-star food service, catering for a wide range of needs and requirements and enhancing the experience for staff, students and visitors on campus.

The role

This a unique and varied administrative role where no two days will be the same. Responsible for managing catering booking systems and reviewing digital procedures. Providing detailed advice and guidance on catering provisions for internal and external customers, managing the content for the catering loyalty app and resolving any system issues appropriately, carrying out data analysis and creating menus are just some of the tasks this role would be involved with.

The working hours are on a full-time basis Monday - Friday, hours of work can be flexible. 

About you

You will be a highly motivated, friendly, and proactive individual with an understanding of catering services and hospitality within a large team in a complex organisation with a multitude of services. You will have strong administrative skills and be able to confidently use online systems and Microsoft office. Able to plan and prioritise a busy workload as well as plan and deliver administrative projects over several months such as an event. You must be prepared to work extra hours during busy periods: October to December, Graduation weeks and Open days.
