Job Details
Applications are invited for a permanent part-time (0.5FTE) appointment as Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) in Clinical Psychology, at the UCD School of Psychology.
Applicants must have a doctorate in clinical psychology, or a PhD in psychology and an accredited professional qualification in clinical psychology, as well as teaching experience relevant to clinical psychology. Successful applicants will contribute to the School's graduate and undergraduate programmes, and to research activity within the School. The School is committed to research-led education, so the candidate will be expected to conduct research that supports high quality teaching in their field, and to lead innovations in both research and teaching. UCD is a dynamic research-intensive university that is at the forefront of research and teaching activities across a wide range of disciplines. The UCD School of Psychology has identified the following strategic research themes:

The School has very good facilities for experimental and applied research, with research centres/groups including the UCD Centre for Disability Studies, Pesky gNATs (CBT for young people), the Youth Mental Health Lab, and the Psychology of Psychosis Lab. The School has extensive interdisciplinary research links to several university teaching hospitals and other service providers in the disability and health sectors. We have developed formal agreements with organisations including St Michael's House Disability Services and LauraLynn Children's Hospice. We are committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and recently received the Athena SWAN Bronze Award.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
