Salary: £51,799 to £60,022 plus £4872 London weighting per annum

We are happy to be recruiting a 6 month temporary vacancy in our Management Information Team within the financial analysis and planning function. The University, and particularly finance is undergoing a large change agenda, modernising, and improving systems and processes and this role is a transitional role to support the team to deliver and embed the required change. Successful applicants will be based on the Avery Hill Campus.
This is an excellent opportunity to work at an exciting time at the University of Greenwich and in the Chief Finance Officer Team following the launch of the 2030 “This is Your Time” strategy. The Finance & Procurement Team are also embarking on a transformation programme with service delivery and uncompromising quality at the centre of the new target operating model.
The main purpose of this position is to inspire and led a high performing team responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process and analysis across the University to provide insights and support major institutional decisions for the VC Executive and the senior management leadership teams. The role holder will have a strong business partnering mindset exemplifying excellent service delivery and being uncompromising on quality. A forward-looking outlook that proactively provides decision support, and critical friend approach to support Institution wide financial decisions. Accountable for completion of the Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC), annual Office for Students (OfS) return, Institutional level budgets, forecasts, monthly process, and a framework for commercial decision making. They will be the business process owner for EPM. The role requires excellent commercial acumen and filter to know when to escalate financial concerns. Finally, this role requires an individual with a passion for developing and coaching team members to reach their potential.
