Full-Time, Fixed-Term (12 months)

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Philosophy. This post is cover for an existing member of staff. The successful candidate will convene and deliver modules on our undergraduate and PGT programmes and take on administrative responsibilities within the department.

About the role.

We are looking for someone with the potential to make a teaching and research contributions in Philosophy broadly defined. We are interested in hearing from applicants working in a range of different subfields, including but not limited to political philosophy, ethics, non-western philosophy, gender, early modern philosophy.

We are also looking for someone who can contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The area of specialism is open but we have teaching needs in early modern philosophy.
