Post Title: Adjunct Lecturer in Mathematics (pre-degree IYZ foundation programme)

Salary: 15,000 AED – 25,000 AED

The IYZ programme offers an exciting curriculum which prepares students for HE-level learning and enables progression to the first year of their chosen degrees. With a common structure and approach, these preparatory programmes offer innovative teaching and learning, with routes into clusters of degrees across a range of subjects. including the fields of; business, accountancy, law, social science, science, engineering, computing, interior design and architecture.

In addition to pathway-specific modules, the programme is underpinned by English for Academic Purposes (EAP), academic study skills and for some pathways – foundation mathematics. 

The Role
You will be joining an enthusiastic team in establishing the IYZ programme as a regional centre for excellence. We are seeking to appoint an experienced adjunct lecturer to deliver a mathematics module which is studied by various cognate areas including; engineering, computing, business, and health and life sciences. The module is centred around the use of MyLab Math, and so experience with this digital platform would be an advantage.

The Person
You will be based in the UAE or the Gulf region, have excellent English language skills, be educated to Masters degree level (or higher), and have experience of teaching and assessment in Higher Education. You must be passionate about teaching the next generation of DMU graduates.
