About the opportunity
This role places an important part in supporting the University's Governance structure and process. You will be responsible for the planning, scoping and initiation of projects to implement keys governance objectives, including researching sector and industry best practice and sourcing information for the Senior Manger University Governance. The role will undertake research, including benchmarking and data gathering and assist in analysis on defined policy and delegations processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- demonstrated ability to achieve objectives and to adapt with and improve current systems and procedures
- excellent verbal and written communication skills across a wide range of enquiries
- strong understanding of project management methodology, including project processes, document and reporting templates and planning tools.
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workloads during busy periods
- ability to recognise priorities and understand the interlocking responsibilities of governance and committees.
