Asia-Pacific Institute of Ageing Studies (APIAS) of Lingnan University is inviting applications for positions of Research Assistant Professor / Postdoctoral Fellow to teach health and social services courses and manage research and community projects.
Requirements
Applicants should (i) have a doctoral degree, preferably in Social Work, Social Policies, Health Studies, Sociology, Nursing or Public Administration; (ii) have experiences in conducting research studies; (iii) have a good publication record, (iv) have experiences in writing research grant proposals; (v) be able to deliver courses such as social and community services, social care ethics, welfare management, program evaluation or social enterprises and (vi) have good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Appointment
The conditions of appointments will be competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointees. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for two years.
