In this role you will work as a lead member of the International Office’s recruitment team. The successful candidate will lead on the development and implementation of the MENA & Central Asia recruitment strategy to ensure the university meets its international recruitment targets and lead regional engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will focus on developing and executing the sales and recruitment strategy for the region.
As part of this role, the successful candidate will primarily focus on the recruitment development of the MENA region with Central Asia being a secondary region. You will develop and maintain good relationships with sponsors, embassy officials, Cultural Attachés, and overseas scholarship bodies, representatives of overseas schools, colleges and universities.
You will be working directly with the Deputy Head of International Recruitment as well as working cross collaboratively with the Deputy Head of International Communications and Operations to implement the regional strategy to support wider international recruitment objectives. As part of the role, you will also be required to manage an International Support Officer to support the implementation of your regional action and conversion strategies.
You will be educated to degree level (or have equivalent experience), with experience of managing high achieving team and have an excellent understanding of international recruitment practices across the Higher Education Sector.
