In this role you will work as a lead member of the International Office’s recruitment team. The successful candidate will lead on the development and implementation of the UK International recruitment strategy and supporting UEL’s China strategy to ensure the university meets its international recruitment targets and lead regional engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will focus on developing and executing the sales and recruitment strategy for the region, as well as supporting the development of our recruitment partner for China.

You will be working directly with the Deputy Head of International Recruitment as well as working cross collaboratively with the Deputy Head of International Communications and Operations to implement the strategic direction, leadership and management of international student recruitment and business development for assigned regions. Responsible for delivering on student recruitment target and growth strategy by working with faculties and through the development and management of strategic partnerships and agents’ network. Offering expertise and providing market intelligence which supports the development of international activity within the university.

As part of the role, you will also be required to support the management of our partner developing our recruitment in China. The successful candidate will also be familiar with working with UK feeder colleges and be comfortable developing a UK agent network. 

You will be educated to degree level (or have equivalent experience), speak Mandarin and have an excellent understanding of international recruitment practices across the Higher Education Sector.
