Description

The Division of Science, Mathematics department at New York University Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit a postdoctoral associate, to work with Weiren Zhao on subjects including (in no particular order): 

• Harmonic analysis and Functional analysis;
• Free boundary problem in fluid system;
• Stability/Instability of coherent structures in 2D/3D flows;
• Stability/Instability in geophysical fluids and plasmas physics;

Candidates must hold (or be close to completing) a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. PhD holders with a strong publication record, a background in analysis and PDE are encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted immediately and candidates will be considered until the position is filled.
