Job Description
Yale-NUS College is a highly selective liberal arts and science college in Singapore. Co-founded by Yale University and the National University of Singapore, the College is committed to excellence in research and teaching within a full residential programme that integrates living and learning. Its curriculum educates students in Asian and Western intellectual traditions as well as current scientific thought.
The College is seeking to hire a full-time Lecturer in Economics. Preferred fields of specialization are Applied Microeconomics (including but not limited to behavioral, development, and environmental economics) and Econometrics. Applicants in all fields will also be considered. This position is on a fixed term contract of up to three (3) years, starting in the Academic Year 2022-2023.
The successful candidate is expected to teach five (5) courses in an academic year in the general area of Economics. Advising students and other services will also be required as needed.
The College offers competitive salaries that are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
