The Zaw research group in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a research assistant to work on multiwavelength studies of active galactic nuclei (AGNs).

The successful applicant will drive a project to understand the similarities and differences in AGNs identified via different observational criteria and whether AGN phenomena are related to various host galaxy properties. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s in physics, astrophysics, or related field. Prior research experience and ability to code are required. Candidates with knowledge of active galactic nuclei and experience with astrophysical data are preferred.
