Applications are invited for appointment as Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref: 515263), to commence on September 1, 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree with a strong and solid record of advanced quantitative research methods. Experience in data management of longitudinal data and conducting mixed-method research including data collection in diverse cultural contexts is advantageous. Preference will be given to those with expertise in Social Policy, Sociology, and related quantitative social sciences.
The appointee will be responsible for leadership within research team in the area of children, families and migration, with specific focus on designing infrastructure for public release of longitudinal survey dataset, conducting advanced statistical analysis, supervising research assistants in the area of data management. Additionally, he/she will be responsible to solicit external research grants, manage special projects as needed, and contribute to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels as relevant.
