Hereford College of Arts is an independent arts school founded almost 170 years ago and is a community of staff and students who are passionate about the arts, design, media and performance. We deliver from college-level courses through to undergraduate and postgraduate level, in a beautiful, historic rural city of human scale.

The College is seeking to appoint a highly creative and ambitious Course Leader with primary responsibility for our BA (Hons) Photography. The post will provide academic and pastoral leadership for the students as well as giving a clear direction and dynamic leadership to the development of the identity of the course so that it recruits well and delivers ambitious professional outcomes.

HCA is a community of students and staff who work collaboratively and creatively between programmes, and we are looking for applicants to help us develop photography and moving image within the wider suite of courses at HCA.  Whilst extensive HE experience is valuable, we also welcome ambitious applicants who may be at an earlier stage in their HE careers but bring exceptional professional experience or insight and strategic vision.
