Position Requirements

• Doctoral qualification in paramedicine or equivalent accreditation and standing relevant to the discipline.  Qualifications and experience in critical care or primary healthcare paramedic practice are considered desirable.

• Knowledge of the scope of practice of paramedics and an ability to contribute this to the development of the curriculum, teaching, and assessment.

• Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate paramedic science students using flexible delivery systems.

• Experience in the development and delivery of low to high fidelity clinical simulation.

• Demonstrated capacity to attract competitive external funding grants and the ability to engage in research relevant to paramedicine.  Experience supervising RHD candidates is desirable.

• You will be expected to hold vaccinations in relation to the COVID-19 immunisation should your CQUniversity role require you to attend any setting / venue / event where there is a specific entry requirement for you to hold these vaccinations, as per relevant State Government directives.
