Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 515229), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biological or Chemical Science, or any related discipline.  They should have good research experience and publications in molecular biology, cell biology, bioimaging and/or animal studies.  Those with experience in cancer research and drug discovery from natural products would have an advantage.  Applicants should be able to work independently as well as in a team to develop assigned research topics.  The appointee will conduct projects related to molecular target identification and mechanistic studies of novel anticancer compounds in interactive and well-equipped laboratories for chemical biology.  Enquiries about the post should be sent to Dr. Eva Fung at eva.fungym@hku.hk or Dr. C.N.
